COMPANY BACKGROUND

Union Dredgers & Marine Cont Co LLC is a specialist service provider focused on marine contracting activities. With years of successful projects, UDMC has earned its reputation as a leading marine contracting company, growing its fleet, equipment, and skilled workforce year after year.

SCOPE OF WORK

The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the company meets its strategic goals. The role requires leadership in project execution, operational efficiency, and business growth within the marine contracting industry.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize operations to meet company goals and objectives.
2. Provide leadership to multiple departments and teams within the company.
3. Oversee large-scale projects from initiation to completion.
4. Ensure operational efficiency, cost management, and timely project delivery.
5. Work closely with senior management to set company direction, strategies, and growth plans.
6. Develop and maintain key client relationships, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business.
7. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety standards, and industry best practices.
8. Continuously evaluate market trends, and identify opportunities for expansion and improvement.
9. Actively monitor project progress, managing resources, timelines, and budgets.
10. Collaborate with teams to streamline project planning, execution, and delivery processes.

COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATION REQUIRED

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within marine contracting, dredging, or related industries.
3. Strong technical understanding of the marine contracting and construction field.
4. Proven ability to manage complex projects and large teams effectively.
5. Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic (Preferred).
6. Proven track record of managing operations, resources, and customer relationships.
