Overview: Bloomfields Holiday Homes is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee its operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The ideal candidate MUST have a proven track record in managing holiday homes, driving business expansion, and optimizing operations. This role involves strategic leadership, team management, revenue growth, and ensuring exceptional guest and owner satisfaction. Location: Abu Dhabi (with operations in Dubai)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to drive growth and profitability across Abu Dhabi and Dubai operations.
  • Oversee the overall performance and ensure alignment with the company’s vision and goals.
  • Business Expansion:
  • Identify and secure opportunities for expanding the portfolio of holiday homes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with landlords, property developers, and real estate agencies.
  • Develop partnerships to enhance market share in the UAE.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure the highest standards of property management, guest experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee in-house teams, including cleaning, maintenance, and guest services.
  • Optimize processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality.
  • Revenue Growth:
  • Drive revenue through occupancy rate improvement and dynamic pricing strategies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to implement targeted campaigns.
  • Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a diverse team across multiple locations.
  • Set KPIs, conduct regular performance evaluations, and ensure a positive work culture.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure adherence to all local laws and regulations governing holiday home operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and manage any legal or compliance-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven track record of 8+ years in managing holiday homes, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the holiday home market in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
  • Skills:
  • Business development and negotiation skills.
  • Operational and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Language: Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
