General Foreman – Pool Maintenance and Landscaping

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to oversee the construction, renovation, and maintenance of swimming pools and landscaped areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pool systems, landscaping, and team leadership, ensuring smooth operations, adherence to quality standards, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Supervision:
   Manage the construction, renovation, and maintenance of swimming pools and landscaped areas. Conduct site inspections, ensure tasks meet design specifications, and address on-site issues.
2. Team Management:
   Supervise skilled and unskilled laborers, subcontractors, and technicians. Assign tasks, mentor team members, and ensure best practices are followed.
3. Scheduling and Planning:
   Develop and manage work schedules aligned with project milestones. Coordinate equipment and material deliveries to avoid delays.
4. Quality Assurance:
   Inspect work for quality and adherence to standards. Conduct regular checks on materials and rectify any defects promptly.
5. Technical Oversight:
   Oversee the installation and maintenance of pool systems, including filtration, plumbing, and lighting. Supervise landscaping tasks like irrigation, drainage, and hardscape installation.
6. Health and Safety Compliance:
   Enforce workplace safety protocols per local HSE or OSHA standards. Conduct risk assessments and ensure proper use of PPE by all team members.
7. Client Communication:
   Act as the main point of contact for clients during project execution. Address client concerns professionally and provide regular updates.

Requirements:

1. Education: Diploma in Engineering or related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
3. Skills and Knowledge:
   Swimming pool construction and maintenance, landscaping design and maintenance, team supervision and leadership, health, safety, and environmental standards, strong communication and documentation abilities.
