General Dentist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, including preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments. The General Dentist will work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the highest standards of patient care and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Conduct thorough examinations of patients' oral health.
• Diagnose dental conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
• Perform a variety of dental procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and cleanings.
• Administer local anesthesia and sedation as necessary.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options.

Treatment Planning:

• Create individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic findings.
• Discuss treatment options with patients and provide detailed explanations.
• Address patient concerns and answer questions regarding procedures and oral health.

Administrative Duties:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
• Coordinate with dental assistants, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with dental regulations and safety protocols.
• Manage patient scheduling and follow-up appointments.

Continuous Improvement:

• Stay current with advances in dental technology and techniques.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Implement new procedures and technologies to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.

Emergency Care:

• Provide emergency dental care as needed.
• Assess and manage dental trauma, pain, and infections.

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
• Current state licensure and certification to practice dentistry.
• Proven experience in a general dentistry practice preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
