General Accountant

A leading law firm in UAE is seeking a highly motivated and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our growing and dedicated team.

As a General Accountant, you will provide strategic financial insights, ensure compliance, and lead key accounting processes.

Responsibilities include:

• Conduct audits of accounting processes and all accounting transactions.
• Handle bookkeeping and record daily transactions.
• Prepare financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and tax laws of UAE.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory and compliance standards.
• Monitor the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for management.
• Propose initiatives to enhance financial reporting processes through automation and innovative solutions.
• Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices, applying updates to internal processes and documentation.
• Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills with a proven track record of identifying and resolving financial discrepancies and the ability to present complex financial data.

Qualifications:

• Female
• Any nationality, preferably from GCC and other Arab countries, and South East Asia.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Licensed
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
