Furniture Designer

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to develop innovative furniture concepts, create technical drawings, and oversee the production process. The ideal candidate should have a passion for aesthetics, functionality, and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities:

1. Design custom and mass-produced furniture pieces based on client requirements and market trends.
2. Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and technical drawings for production.
3. Collaborate with manufacturers, carpenters, and suppliers to ensure quality craftsmanship.
4. Select appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware for furniture designs.
5. Conduct market research to stay updated on furniture trends and innovations.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
7. Participate in client meetings to understand design preferences and functional needs.
8. Manage project timelines and coordinate with production teams.
9. Develop prototypes and oversee testing of new furniture designs.
10. Present design concepts and modifications to stakeholders.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in furniture design and production.
2. Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, or similar design software.
3. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomic design principles.
4. Excellent creativity, visualization, and problem-solving skills.
5. Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
