Fundamental Equity Analyst - Industrials (Cap Goods, Materials, Chemicals, P&P......)

My client, a $5bn AUM multi-PM equity investment platform, headquartered in London.

As part of a new operation build-out in Dubai, they are actively hiring for experienced industrials-sector focused, fundamental (bottom-up) equity analysts. The incoming analysts will work with a newly onboarded PM (joining from a big name, multi-strat) who will be managing a book of c$800m and building a team, both in Dubai and London. The book will have a long/short (low net/market neutral) strategy and cover EU and US names within the capital goods, infrastructure, materials, chemicals, construction, P&P, autos and semis space.

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct fundamental, bottom-up analysis of companies within the industrials sector.
2. Assist in managing a long/short equity book.
3. Collaborate with the PM to develop investment strategies.
4. Participate in a dedicated development programme to enhance risk management expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Four years' experience in fundamental analysis on the buy-side.
2. Experience with either long/short (L/S) or long-only (LO) strategies.
