Job Purpose

• We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant to support the implementation of Oracle EPM Financials.
• The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Financial Reporting and Management Reporting with expertise in Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS), Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service (FCCS), Narrative Reporting, Corporate Taxation within EPM, and Cost and Profitability Management.
• This role will be integral in ensuring the accurate and effective delivery of financial planning, consolidation, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in implementation and configuration of Oracle EPM Financials, focusing on Financial Reporting and Management Reporting for the bank.
• Provide expertise and input in EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service), ensuring accurate budgeting, forecasting, and planning across the organization.
• Oversee the implementation of FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud Service), streamlining the financial consolidation and close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Assist & Implement Narrative Reporting for enhanced financial reporting and regulatory disclosures, ensuring transparency and consistency in financial narratives.
• Provide insights and assist in the setup of Corporate Taxation processes within EPM Financials, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and effective management of tax reporting in line with UAE corporate tax laws.
• Assist in developing and implementing frameworks for Cost and Profitability Management, providing detailed analysis and insights into cost drivers and profitability across various business segments.
• Collaborate with the finance, tax, and management reporting teams to gather business requirements and ensure the EPM solutions are aligned with organizational goals.
• Conduct UAT, ensuring that all financial, tax, and management reporting solutions meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
• Provide end-user training and post-go-live support for the implemented EPM solutions.

Problem Solving And Complexity

Having Business Analytics and problem-solving skills in Banking Domain.

Educational Background

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting and Finance.

Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of experience in financial and management reporting, particularly within the BFSI sector.
• Proven experience in implementing Oracle EPM Financials, including EPBCS, FCCS, and Narrative Reporting.
• Strong understanding of corporate taxation processes and their integration into financial reporting systems.
• Experience with cost and profitability management systems, with the ability to translate business needs into actionable insights.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in Oracle EPM Cloud applications, including EPBCS, FCCS, and Narrative Reporting.
• Knowledge of tax reporting frameworks and corporate tax management within EPM systems.
• Proficiency in cost allocation methodologies and profitability analysis within EPM solutions.
• Experience in managing large-scale financial system implementations, including configuration and UAT processes.

Functional Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide insights on financial and management reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and IT.
• Strong project management skills with experience in delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Attention to detail and a focus on ensuring data accuracy in financial and management reporting.

Education And Experience

• Experience in the banking sector or working with financial institutions.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud EPM solutions.
• Certification in Oracle EPM.
