Fullstack .NET cum VueJS Software Engineer

Job Description

This is a software engineering position in which you will be joining a team of engineers to help develop software that supports gamers globally. In this role, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of code and work closely alongside our engineering team to deliver outstanding features, whilst conforming to coding standards and technical design. As part of the engineering team, you will also assist with other development processes and requirements as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for software development lifecycle activities, including system study, analysis, design, code, test, and deployment.
2. Write, analyze, optimize, and debug application code to maximize performance and quality.
3. Participate in and help lead design and code reviews.
4. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
5. Focus on the develop, revamp, and maintain front end web applications for internal and external users.
6. Develop and maintain various software applications such as consoles and cron jobs.
7. Responsible for project branch maintenance and builds.
8. Create technical specifications and test guidance.
9. Capable of working proficiently at both strategic and tactical aspects of a project. Ability to code complex programs and derive logical processes.
10. Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects.
11. Working along with software developers to create and maintain a robust framework.
12. Engage product stakeholders in discussions to align features with business requirements at every milestone.
13. Responsible for translating the client's business requirements into specific system, application, or process designs.
14. Provide level 3 support and perform root cause analysis as required.

Job Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Proven expertise in writing clean and efficient code.
• Full stack developer with strong experience in Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core & Entity Framework Core/Linq, JavaScript and related frameworks (NodeJS, ExpressJS, etc.), and/or .NET.
• Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g. VueJS, ReactJS, Bootstrap, JQuery, HTML5, CSS3, etc.)
• Experienced with MongoDB, MySQL, MSSQL and ORMs
• Experience with test driven development
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team.
• Able to articulate clearly and communicate well in English.
• Show willingness to learn and keep up to date with technology trends.
• BSc degree in Computer Science or related field

Bonus:

• Experienced with architecture styles/Web APIs (RESTful & SOAP)
• Knowledge and experience in AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, RDS, ElastiCache, SES, ECS, etc)
• Knowledge of microservices architectures
• Knowledge of serverless architectures
