Position Overview

We are seeking an organized and personable Beauty Salon Receptionist to provide exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for clients, you will play a key role in creating a positive and inviting atmosphere while managing appointments and day-to-day salon operations. This role is exclusively for ladies, in alignment with our brand's focus on women's services exclusively.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet clients as they arrive and ensure they feel welcome and comfortable.
  2. Answer phone calls and handle inquiries regarding services, pricing, and availability.
  3. Schedule and manage appointments for clients, ensuring an organized and efficient booking system.
  4. Maintain an accurate and up-to-date client database.
  5. Provide information about the salon's services, promotions, and products.
  6. Assist with client check-ins and check-outs, including processing payments.
  7. Coordinate with stylists, beauticians, and other team members to ensure smooth salon operations.
  8. Handle any special client requests or concerns with professionalism and empathy.
  9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and salon front desk.
  10. Manage inventory of salon products and supplies, and assist with ordering when necessary.
  11. Promote salon services and products to clients, helping to boost sales.
  12. Assist with general administrative duties, including filing, email correspondence, and record-keeping.

Qualifications

  1. Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in a beauty salon or spa setting.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  3. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  4. Professional appearance and demeanor.
  5. Proficient in using salon booking software and basic office applications.
  6. Knowledge of beauty and wellness services is a plus.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
