Full Stack Team Lead

Job Description

• Lead development and implementation of new features across multiple websites
• Enhance and fine-tune intelligent search using ElasticSearch
• Implement cookie-based personalization without user login
• Contribute to the AI strategy for content recommendations and smart features
• Optimize front-end and back-end performance and scalability
• Automate KPI reporting and dashboard generation
• Work within a Liferay CMS environment hosted on Azure
• Collaborate closely with designers, content teams, and product leads
• Communicate clearly in English (spoken and written); team operates in a non-Arabic environment

Job Requirements

• Full-stack development using Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs
• Experience with Liferay CMS and ElasticSearch
• Strong understanding of search architecture and optimization
• Experience implementing cookie-based personalization and behavioral tracking
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, DeepSeek, or Azure AI
• Proficient in Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) for reporting and KPI tracking
• Strong skills in performance optimization (caching, image compression, DB tuning, etc.)
• Comfortable managing both front-end and back-end tasks
• Experienced working in Azure cloud environments
• Familiar with WCAG accessibility standards and multilingual/RTL websites
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Ability to work with non-Arabic speaking teams
• Bonus: Experience with vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate), SEO, accessibility auditing, or Arabic language support
