Frontend Developer

Role Overview: As a Front-end Developer specializing in React.js at Aster Digital Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our digital health platform. Leveraging your expertise in React.js and related technologies, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement responsive web applications that empower users to manage their health effectively. You will be instrumental in driving innovation, ensuring scalability, and enhancing the performance of our digital health solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate user requirements into intuitive and engaging front-end solutions.
2. Implement best practices for front-end development, including responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
3. Participate in the design and architecture discussions to ensure scalability and maintainability of the front-end codebase.
4. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end components to identify and resolve issues promptly.
5. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in front-end technologies, incorporating relevant tools and techniques into our development process.
6. Work closely with the QA team to ensure the quality and reliability of the front-end codebase.
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows, advocating for best practices and efficient collaboration.
8. Demonstrate a proactive and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, addressing technical challenges with creativity and resourcefulness.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. Bachelor's/master’s in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
2. 1-3 years Proven experience as a Front-end Developer with a strong focus on React.js development.
3. Solid understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3, and proficiency in styling with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
4. Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as Webpack, Babel, and npm/yarn.
5. Experience in integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming techniques.
6. Strong debugging skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in front-end codebases.
7. Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), code reviews, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
