Front Office UI Development Lead

The Team:
The Front Office team partners with portfolio management, risk teams, and economists to provide applications for data-analysis and improved workflows, and is continuing to grow to better support further business expansion.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

• Partner with portfolio managers and strategists to drive new products for Front Office
• Working with quantitative developers to deliver robust and efficient system architectures
• Steer and ensure the technical architecture for the products delivered are sound

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential:

• Excellent knowledge of Typescript and React
• Experience architecting single-page applications
• Comfortable interacting with internal end users
• Comfortable wireframing and breaking down requirements into deliverables
• Previous experience leading a small team

Desirable:

• Exposure to JavaScript charting/visualisation libraries
• Testing React apps using Storybook and MSW
• Exposure to building desktop apps with Electron
• Comfortable with NoSQL/relational databases
• Comfortable with node and some python
• Strong understanding of common data structures
• Fixed income product knowledge
