Freight Manager

One of our well-known clients, is looking for a Freight Manager in Dubai.

Position: Freight Manager

Responsibilities:

- Chartering of vessels on the market and their nomination to the port;

- Chartering of ships in time charter;

- Planning of metal products delivery and export in all directions;

- Confirmation of ships, control over the organization of loading, operational issues, ships status informing;

- Business communication with ports and production. Participation in negotiations and meetings;

- Preparation and settlement of lay time calculations;

- Preparation and settlement of ship handling claims - both with service providers and consumers;

- Studying and amending existing contracts - continuous improvement and development.

Requirements:

- Experience in chartering from 10 years;

- Charter experience required;

- High level of business communication with ports and production at a high level. Participation in negotiations and meetings;

- Ability to maintain and provide reports, regular and spontaneous;

- Work with statistics;

- Experience with SAP or similar system.
