This position is part of the content management team to define and deploy social evergreen and adaptive activities to the brand’s public. The Content Manager should be an experienced channel manager with a social media or content strategy background with a passion for engaging consumers.
Minimum Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in communications, marketing, advertising, public relations, media studies, business and/or related fields.
3-4 years’ experience managing social media platforms or communities for brands, preferably in an agency setting.
Proven track record of success using social media as a marketing tool.
Primary Responsibilities
Thought Leadership/Technical & Marketing Craft
Collaborate with social strategists and directors to develop cross-brand strategies and agency POVs for emerging social media platforms.
Ensure channel strategies are aligned with overall brand strategies.
Evaluate third-party tools and industry trends within relevant social channels.
Develop insights to feed back into brand strategy & customer persona work.
Steward of the brand on social platforms, able to translate the brand voice to social.
Internal Integration
Develop plans for optimizing and evolving evergreen efforts across multiple channels for selective brands.
Collaborate with other agency teams to ensure overall client goals and paid, earned, and owned posts and campaign objectives are met.
Hold relationships with key stakeholders within the agency and with clients.
Collaborate with peers and actively participate in team, staff and client meetings.
Display strong work ethic and share company values.
Work closely with the analyst to come up with better insights and recommendations to clients.
Breakthrough Work/Execution
Lead the development, implementation and ongoing optimization of channel strategies.
Ensure clear metrics are in place to measure and improve team efforts.
Own, develop and implement a social content calendar working with creative teams.
Plan, curate and create content to sustain channel growth and fan engagement.
Lead regular reporting on channel performance alongside the digital analyst to feed into broader brand reporting.
Client Management
Present content plans, channel strategies, insights and optimization plans to clients.
Manage the content asset briefs and suggest proactive ways to produce content inside and outside the agency production capabilities.
Team Growth
Responsible for the growth and development of the Community Manager.
