Reservations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the reservations team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of bookings.
  • Monitor room inventory, availability, and rates to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Analyze booking trends and provide recommendations to optimize revenue management strategies.
  • Ensure all reservations are entered accurately in the system and confirmations are sent promptly.

Team Leadership:

  • Assist in training, mentoring, and supervising the reservations team to achieve departmental goals.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Revenue Optimization:

  • Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to implement pricing strategies and promotional offers.
  • Monitor competitor rates and market trends to ensure competitive positioning.
  • Assist in preparing and analyzing reports related to reservations and revenue performance.

Guest Relations:

  • Address and resolve guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints related to reservations.
  • Ensure seamless communication between reservations, front office, and other departments.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction.

System Management:

  • Ensure proper utilization and maintenance of the property management system (PMS) and channel management tools.
  • Regularly update and audit online distribution channels to maintain rate parity and accurate property information.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT and external vendors.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly reservations and revenue reports.
  • Assist in budget preparation and cost control for the reservations department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of hotel products, services, and local attractions.
