A Technology Manager with the global leader in the creation of Taste & Wellbeing and Fragrance & Beauty, an important member of our Regional Science & Technology team for Fragrance & Beauty Consumer Products and Fine Fragrance, and a business partner for our continued success in the region, while being based in our Dubai office - Your future position?

We are recruiting a ‘Technology Manager’ to support our Fragrance & Beauty division and business in the Middle East and Africa region. You will replace an incumbent moving internally for another opportunity within Givaudan.

You will be part of our Global Science and Technology (S&T) organisation, the industry's leading research and development platform. In this individual contributor role, you will continue to build the regional expertise of available technologies for fragrance development and deploy these technologies by promoting them internally and externally for our customers.

You will support commercial activities and critical projects by providing customer technology packages and demonstrations. You will also animate the regional S&T interface with fragrance development by demonstrating technologies, including new molecules. You will be based in our regional head office in Dubai and report to the Fragrance & Beauty Regional Technology Head for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for -

1. Help facilitate the implementation of fragrance technologies in the region:
   • Provide knowledge of the available fragrance technologies.
   • Support Perfumers and Evaluators in developing fragrances that demonstrate their value.
   • Assist fragrance development for client briefs.
2. Collect and report technical competitive intelligence:
   • Seek and report all competitive activities related to established, new, or under-development fragrance technologies.
   • Manage the library of available technology demonstrations and presentations.
   • Exchange with global Science and Technology (S&T) network peers.
3. Provide customer presentations and demonstrations of available technologies:
   • Demonstrate the added benefit of using technology for fragrances.
   • Tailor demonstrations for client and consumer needs.
4. Build engagement with customers to better address their needs:
   • Provide feedback to the S&T Centres of Excellence on customer needs to help define future research programmes and continuous improvement activities.

Your professional profile includes:

1. A Bachelor’s or University degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
2. 8+ years of relevant and progressive work experience in the fragrance industry in international work environments.
3. Additional experience in Science & Technology or Research & Development domains is necessary.
4. Knowledge of fragrance delivery technologies like encapsulation and malodour control is good to have.
5. Good business acumen.
6. Excellent project management skills.
7. Comfortable working and collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
8. Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
9. Can travel within the Middle East and Africa region.
