We are seeking a highly skilled Foreman – Plater / Foreman Marking Cutting to lead and oversee steel fabrication activities both onboard and in the workshop. The ideal candidate will ensure efficiency, safety, and quality while coordinating tasks and supervising a team of skilled workers.
Day-to-Day Operations:
Plan and provide feedback on job sequences, manpower, and equipment requirements.
Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and other trades for smooth execution.
Optimize resource allocation to meet deadlines efficiently.
Ensure compliance with required standards and timelines.
Assign and monitor workers, ensuring quality through inspections.
Report work progress and shift turnovers as needed.
Train, motivate, and assess team members to enhance skill levels.
Enforce discipline to minimize absenteeism and unsafe work practices.
Identify and report errors using the NCIR system.
Safety, Quality, and Environment Compliance:
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental policies.
Participate in safety training and initiatives.
Report incidents or potential hazards immediately.
Stop any task if safety is at risk.

Language Skills:
Proficiency in English (other languages are an advantage).
Strong technical and report-writing skills.
Expertise in steel fabrication, structures, and welding procedures.
Experience in ship repair and new-building yards.

Desired Candidate Profile:
Industrial Training Certificate or equivalent, Diploma in Engineering 2 years trade apprentice course.
2 years in offshore/oil & gas industry.
3+ years in a foreman or lead position in steel fabrication.
3-5 years in the oil & gas or shipbuilding industry.
