Foreman Electrical Ducting & Plumbing

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the installation and maintenance of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with national and local regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers and other trades to plan and execute ducting and plumbing installations on time and within budget.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify safety hazards and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe work environment.
• Supervise and mentor electrical and plumbing teams, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Manage material requisitions and inventory, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for ongoing projects.
• Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of electrical ducting and plumbing tasks.
• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.
• Ensure all work is documented and reported in a timely manner, maintaining accurate records of daily activities and incident reports.
• Implement quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in all electrical and plumbing installations.
• Resolve conflicts and troubleshoot issues on-site, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and technical expertise.

Desired Candidate Profile

• A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, demonstrating a solid educational foundation.
• Certification in plumbing systems and electrical safety, showcasing specialized knowledge and commitment to the profession.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in electrical ducting and plumbing, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Experience working in commercial construction environments, providing an understanding of complex project dynamics.
