We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC for an :

Job Purpose :

This position is a unique opportunity for you to work on DEWA Substations Projects and be responsible for supervising the departmental / contracts site works of 11 kV, and 33kV Substation installation & commissioning in order to ensure quality & safety and timely completion of projects.

Your main duties will be to:

1. Study the CAR with ring diagram & understand NOC drawings.
2. Locate underground services & cable tracing with cable locators.
3. Control over the labors and site activities.
4. Be fit to work at site during extreme weather conditions.
5. Installation of pilot, FO cables and FO ducts as required.
6. Capable of making job-related decisions in day-to-day execution.
7. Daily follow-up and reporting to superiors regarding site progress.
8. Site coordination with party contractors and plot owners.
9. Miscellaneous urgent jobs assigned by supervisor / foreman / manager.

Profile:

Ideally, you will have graduated with a Diploma (Electrical Engineering) / 2 Years ITI Electrical with a minimum experience of 3 years in HV / LV cable, pilot cable, and FO duct installation.

You have good communication skills and English proficiency.

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as a good level of computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
