About the Role:

As a Food Technologist, you will spearhead the development of innovative food products, enhance production processes, and ensure compliance with global quality and safety standards. Working at the intersection of science, creativity, and technology, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food for a diverse customer base.

What You'll Do:

  1. Research global consumer trends and emerging technologies to create new food products that set industry benchmarks.
  2. Conduct trials and coordinate menu launches to showcase cutting-edge culinary concepts.

Enhance Processes:

  1. Develop and refine production processes to ensure product consistency and elevate customer satisfaction.
  2. Propose process improvements and recommend equipment modifications to align with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.

Ensure Quality:

  1. Monitor and evaluate product characteristics, including shelf life, to meet and exceed quality benchmarks.
  2. Implement and uphold hygiene and safety protocols throughout the production cycle.

Collaborate and Lead:

  1. Work closely with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative food solutions that cater to evolving market needs.
  2. Stay abreast of industry trends and integrate new ideas into production and product development strategies.

Document and Analyse:

  1. Maintain meticulous records of experimental data for quality audits and future references.
  2. Build a comprehensive library of findings to enhance training and continuous improvement efforts.

What We Are Looking For:

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in food science, Food Engineering, Nutrition & Health, or a related field.
  2. Industry certifications in HACCP or food safety standards are a plus.

Experience:

  1. Minimum 8 years in a large-scale food production facility, with at least 3 years in a similar role.
  2. Experience in aviation catering or hospitality will give you an edge.

Skills:

  1. Expertise in food safety standards, HACCP protocols, and production optimization.
  2. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  3. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to manage and present data effectively.
