Position: Food Products Purchasing Manager

Location: Abu Dhabi

He must have experience working on food products with the highest demands in the market like (Oils, all kinds of spices, Food sauces).

Responsibilities

A Purchasing Manager is responsible for evaluating suppliers and negotiating to achieve the lowest price for high-quality goods. This role may have the following duties and responsibilities:

1. Planning and overseeing the work of Buyers and Purchasing Agents.
2. Experience leading a team and discussing contracts.
3. Establishing guidelines on how often the company gets price quotes for items, the number of bids to accept, and which vendors to consider.
4. Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support, and availability of goods and services.
5. Interpersonal skills such as teamwork and good listening skills.
6. Excellent communication skills.
7. Ability to manage time and organize.

Required Skills And Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience as a purchasing manager within the background of the global markets like India and China.
3. In-depth knowledge of procurement strategies and best practices.
4. Strong skills in budgeting, cost optimization, and negotiation techniques.
5. An analytical mind with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
