Job description

Reporting directly to our F&B Manager, our F&B Team Leaders take responsibility for managing the Restaurant and Bar operations and leading and motivating the team to deliver an exceptional service through practiced standards, policies, and procedures. Leading by example, you will demonstrate how to welcome and manage guests in a friendly, down-to-earth manner, taking great pride and attention towards creating a service that our guests love.

What will I be doing

  • Train, guide, and coach your fellow colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
  • Creating a warm welcoming experience, building a great rapport with repeat customers, ensuring you and the team follow F&B service brand standards and procedures.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and clearly in a polite and helpful manner.
  • Ensure that guest feedback and any escalations are managed effectively.
  • Ensure that payments are dealt with according to the company’s cash handling procedures and that shifts are effectively closed and successfully handed over to the next shift.
  • Set up, train the team, and implement the hygiene & service procedures and practices.
  • Build a good rapport with guests and resolve any issues quickly to maintain high-quality customer service.
  • Keep abreast of all promotions, activities, and events in the surrounding area to give accurate information to guests.
  • Identify corporate leads and drive online name mentions.

Requirements

  • A passion for great customer service.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Arabic language is a plus.
  • Flexible, agile, and able to work under pressure.
  • Proactive with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work and lead a team.
  • Customer-oriented approach.
  • Attention to detail.
  • F&B and Alcohol background is a plus.

Experience

  • You will likely have a minimum of 1 year experience leading an F&B team in a branded hotel.
  • Knowledge of hygiene practices.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
