Food Beverage Supervisor - Moana

Responsibilities:

1. Create a sense of welcome and personalized service excellence for our guests.
2. Display an active presence in our dining rooms and public areas interacting with guests and colleagues.
3. Effectively manage the systems in place to deliver superior service.
4. Monitor resources ensuring the tools are available to deliver the service our guests expect.
5. Ensure the appropriate performance management of colleagues regarding adherence to Sofitel standards policies and procedures.
6. Constantly seek out new ways to enhance service and increase profits through effective and innovative promotions and marketing opportunities.
7. Maintain a constructive, harmonious, and communicative working relationship with all supporting departments.
8. Ensure the ongoing professional development, growth, and work satisfaction of all colleagues.
9. Ensure all financial reporting is maintained and accurate (billing, payroll, etc.).
10. Monitor and manage labour costs and expenses daily with a focus on meeting and improving on month-end targets.
11. Promote and develop a culture of environmental awareness and responsibility.
12. Ensure that the outlet(s) maintain a first-class and positive visual impact including ambiance, cleanliness, orderliness, decor, and service flows.
13. Set a positive example for Food & Beverage colleagues through exemplary dress, grooming, and self-discipline in addition to monitoring colleague performance in these areas.
14. Inspect Food & Beverage uniforms, menu selection, cutlery, linen, china, and glassware & equipment/tools on a regular basis to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and consistent for each outlet.
15. Ensure a clean and safe working environment and actively participate in health and safety initiatives.
16. Adhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiatives.
17. Carry out any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role we ask that you have:

1. Previous experience as a F&B supervisor or an equivalent role.
2. Previous experience in a 4/5* Hotel or high profile events.
3. Passionate about all things F&B.
4. Ability to lead a team.
5. Functions best in a fast-paced environment and enjoys a challenge.
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
7. Excellent attention to detail.
8. Flexibility in working hours is required.
