Job description

The key focus of this role is to support the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage by the following:

  1. Overseeing daily operations in all food and beverage service areas to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
  2. Develop and implement operational policies, standards, and procedures.
  3. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
  4. Lead, train, and manage the food and beverage service team, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and provide ongoing coaching.
  6. Maintain high standards of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  7. Address and resolve customer complaints or issues promptly, using feedback to improve service delivery.
  8. Manage expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
  9. Analyze sales trends and recommend strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
  10. Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns.
  11. Continuously assess and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  12. Identify areas for improvement and recommend the implementation of new procedures or technologies to streamline operations.

Qualifications:

  1. 5 years experience in food and beverage management within UAE.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  3. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  4. Knowledge of financial management principles and experience in budget management.
