Holiday Inn Abu Dhabi is looking for an efficient and team-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our dynamic team! Holiday Inn is the first of its brand in Abu Dhabi, featuring 203 modern and stylish rooms and a wide variety of food & beverage outlets.

What’s the job?

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you’ll welcome our guests, recommend food and drink, and help keep service on-track and up to standard. By tailoring each guest’s experience to their unique tastes, you’ll create memories as delightful as the dishes.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

• Make each meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the taste buds.
• Report any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents to your supervisor.
• Follow safety procedures and wear necessary protective equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Assist with washing up and other kitchen duties when needed.
• Address guest queries or provide advice.
• Wear your uniform with pride.
• Take on other ad-hoc duties as needed.

What we need from you

To execute the position of Food & Beverage Attendant, the candidate must meet the legal requirements to work in the UAE. Ideally, the candidate must have:

• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2-4 years restaurant experience in a full-service outlet or similar setting.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local authorities.
• Excellent knowledge of ala carte menus, wine and beverage lists, and current food trends.

The candidate should be able to communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively in a team. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management are essential. Flexibility to work a 6-day rotating roster, including overnight, weekend and public holiday shifts, is required.
