Job Description:
- Oversee the maintenance and operational efficiency of park facilities, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Manage a team of technicians and support staff, providing training and guidance to enhance performance.
- Conduct regular inspections of park assets, identifying potential issues and coordinating timely repairs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks, ensuring quality and adherence to contracts.
- Utilize asset management software to track maintenance activities, costs, and resource allocation.
- Engage with park visitors to address concerns and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and manage budgets for maintenance operations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with environmental and conservation teams to promote sustainable practices within park operations.
- Analyze park usage data to inform decision-making and improve visitor experience and satisfaction.
- Supervise and train maintenance staff, fostering a culture of safety and excellence in service delivery.
- Utilize advanced technology for park management, including GIS and asset management software, to streamline operations and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance park management and facility services.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field, with a focus on sustainable practices.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, particularly within a park or recreational setting.
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP) are preferred.
- Experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully leading maintenance projects.
- Experience working with municipal organizations in the UAE or similar environments is preferred.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong technical skills in HVAC, electrical systems, and plumbing specific to park facilities.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with diverse stakeholders, including the public.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and tools to optimize operational efficiency.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a knack for team building and motivating staff.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks associated with park maintenance duties.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus for interacting with a diverse visitor base.
