Flight Operation Coordinator

About the role:

The primary duty of the Flight Coordinator is to arrange services requested by clients and coordinate all services associated with the flights from permits, ground handling services, fueling, catering, hotel accommodation, crew, and passenger transportation. Flight coordinators are responsible for ensuring timely service as well as providing clients with the highest level of customer service.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

1. Arranging services for flights as per client needs
2. Coordinating with management for reports and consultation of flights
3. Monitoring the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the pilot of origin to final destination (flight following)
4. Ensuring all services are in order for timely flight operations
5. Identifying, anticipating, and taking corrective action to minimize actual/potential flight delays
6. Reviewing, preparing, and submitting post-flight summary reports for Finance
7. FBO selection and database upkeep
8. Ensuring safe client and regulatory practices
9. Quoting clients as per management’s instructions

Skills and Working Conditions:

1. Prior experience in handling operational support is required
2. Excellent multi-tasking skills
3. Flexibility with timings as operations run 24/7
4. Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
5. Team player with the ability to work in a multicultural team
6. Quick thinking and able to devise alternative solutions to problems
