Fleet Supervisor

As a Fleet Supervisor, you will oversee the company’s fleet operations and ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities:

Manage vehicle maintenance schedules.

Monitor fuel consumption and route optimization.

Ensure compliance with UAE transport laws.

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's vehicle fleet, ensuring all vehicles are well-maintained and available for use.

Monitor the utilization of vehicles, ensuring they are being used efficiently and safely in accordance with company policies.

Track fleet performance, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and vehicle downtime, and ensure vehicles are used in an optimal manner.

Schedule and supervise regular vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure vehicles are in good working condition and comply with safety regulations.

Coordinate repairs and ensure vehicles are serviced promptly to minimize downtime.

Keep detailed records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Supervise and provide guidance to drivers, ensuring they follow company policies, traffic laws, and safety protocols.

Monitor driver performance, conduct performance reviews, and provide training when necessary to ensure compliance with company standards.

Schedule driver shifts and ensure that the appropriate number of drivers are available for each shift, optimizing efficiency.

Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.

Adjust routes based on traffic, weather, and other logistical factors to ensure on-time deliveries and minimize delays.

Ensure timely delivery of products, and address any delays or issues that may arise during transportation.Monitor and manage the fleet's operating budget, ensuring costs are within budgetary limits.

Analyze fuel consumption and maintenance costs, identify areas for cost savings, and recommend strategies for improving fleet efficiency.

Manage purchasing and leasing decisions, including acquiring new vehicles as needed and disposing of old ones.

Requirements:

3+ years in fleet management.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.
