Fleet Compliance Supervisor.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing fleet operations, including DOT and OSHA standards.
• Conduct regular audits of fleet vehicles and maintenance records to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions.
• Develop and implement training programs for drivers on compliance protocols, safety regulations, and best practices.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to establish and oversee preventive maintenance schedules that align with compliance requirements.
• Analyze and interpret compliance data to identify trends and develop strategies for continuous improvement in fleet operations.
• Act as the primary liaison between the fleet department and regulatory agencies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance audits and inspections, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Lead incident investigations related to fleet operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards.
• Stay abreast of changes in regulations affecting fleet operations to proactively adjust policies and procedures.
• Cultivate a culture of safety and compliance within the fleet team through effective communication and leadership.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Certifications such as Certified Transportation Professional (CTP) or Fleet Management Certification (C/FM) are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in fleet management software and compliance tracking systems to streamline operations and reporting.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and influence diverse teams effectively.
• Strong analytical skills to assess compliance data and implement actionable improvements.

• Ability to perform physical tasks related to fleet inspections and audits, including lifting and moving equipment.
