FLE lecturer

- Participate in the training courses offered.

- Receive students and their families.

- Work within the educational framework prescribed by the Program Director of the FLE department, the Director of the department and under the administrative authority of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of academic affairs of SUAD.

- Fulfill the missions assigned by Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi.

- Get involved in recruitment operations, at the University and outside (correcting test copies for entrance, participation in the Open Day, trade fairs and visits to establishments).

- Contribute to the orientation of students in the Bachelor's degree courses.

- Promote French-speaking countries and the University within the host country.

- Participate in cultural events organized by the University or at the University and promote the department activities.

Educational and Administrative Responsibilities:
The new reader will take charge of the educational and administrative responsibilities or missions assigned to him/her, entrusted by the Department Director for the smooth running and development of the Department.

Hourly Volume per Week:
The reader will provide 12 hours of weekly teaching (384 hours per year, over 32 weeks) depending on the departmental needs, as well as 4 hours per week dedicated to reception and personalized support for students.

Holidays are determined by the SUAD management. Between the end of classes and the beginning of the holidays, teachers must ensure educational preparations. They may, if necessary, be required very occasionally during the holidays to help with student recruitment and admissions (entrance test).
