To contribute to the control and accounting of Capital Expenditure (Fixed Assets) and Purchase coordination in line with Accounting principles and ENOC group policies and procedures.
Principal Accountabilities
Functional Support Services (Fixed Assets)
To execute the accounting of fixed assets and capital expenditures through Processing monthly Capital ER close outs in coordination with the relevant business entities within the agreed timelines in line with the accounting principles and procedures.
To submit various reports and status of the projects to Management.
To provide administrative support to Management on Budget and Forecast (Planning) exercise, implementation of policies and procedures related to Fixed Assets at ENOC group level in line with ENOC vision and mission.
To provide administrative support on continuous IT system development in the areas of Fixed Assets and Purchase Order Processing system.
To compile yearly asset schedule for audit and liaise with Internal / External / Government Auditors to provide necessary inputs and to initiate timely corrective actions in line with the auditor reports and as per management advice.
To update and maintain Fixed Asset Register capturing all assets, periodical depreciation, audit schedule and any other relevant information in line with ENOC policies and procedures.
To provide support on conducting periodical reconciliations of Fixed Assets accounts including depreciation, provision, shop orders to general ledger, investigating exceptions and resolving the same.
To timely prepare monthly and yearly management / stakeholders reports to Management covering Monthly Investment Expenditures status, Capital Budget utilization, Unpaid commitment etc.
To conduct physical verification of group assets and update management via periodical reports along with variations, if any identified.
To liaise with Intercompany / relevant stakeholders and be responsible for providing accurate financial services with regards to Fixed Assets.
To prepare periodical management report covering financials / KPI / BSC reports for all entities applicable for review and approval.
Experience
Educational Qualification: A university degree in accounting qualifications
System Skills: ERP system exposure, knowledge of Fixed Asset, POP and General ledger Systems. Expert knowledge of Excel
3 years of overall experience in Finance, it is preferable to have 1 year experience in Oil & Gas industry
