Fitout Supervisor / Foreman

Job Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the fit-out team, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and safely.
• Review project plans and specifications to ensure a clear understanding of the fit-out requirements.
• Monitor the progress of fit-out works to ensure compliance with project specifications, local codes, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other trades to ensure seamless integration of fit-out components with other project elements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in fit-out installations.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials used, and any changes to project plans.
• Ensure that all fit-out work is completed on schedule and within budget.
• Provide training and guidance to fit-out workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Fitout Supervisor or Foreman in the interior fit-out industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior construction techniques and materials.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for project management and documentation.

Education and Experience

• Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fit-out supervision within the interior fit-out industry.
