Job description

Job Responsibilities

  1. Identify the clients’ fitness level and health.
  2. Oversee completion of exercise routines.
  3. Track clients’ physical progress.
  4. Modify exercise plans based on needs, potential injuries, or health issues.
  5. Conduct individual and group fitness training sessions.
  6. Adopt a holistic training approach (e.g., cardiovascular exercise, strength).
  7. Oversee the use of fitness equipment to ensure clients exercise properly and safely.
  8. Handle nutrition and health-related questions.
  9. Refer to and promote fitness packages and plans.
  10. Carry out First Aid and CPR if needed.
  11. Follow safety and hygiene guidelines.

Requirements and Skills

  1. Previous work experience as a Fitness Trainer or similar role.
  2. Knowledge of diverse exercises and how to adjust plans according to each client’s needs.
  3. Ability to instruct and motivate people.
  4. Excellent communication skills.
  5. Teamwork.
  6. Available to work on early or late shifts and on weekends.
