The Operations Manager oversees all operational aspects of fit-out projects, ensuring timely completion, quality standards, and client satisfaction. This role involves managing resources, coordinating teams, and implementing strategic plans to meet business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Plan, organize, and oversee fit-out projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues or delays promptly.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including site supervisors and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular meetings to review progress, allocate resources, and address challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Resource Management:
- Manage project resources effectively, including materials, equipment, and manpower.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials and supplies.
- Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Address any quality issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during project execution.
- Communicate project updates, address concerns, and manage expectations.
- Strive to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and cultivate long-term relationships.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote and enforce safe work practices on-site and in accordance with company policies.

- Monitor project budgets and financial performance.
- Control project costs and expenses to align with budgetary constraints.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role in fit-out or construction industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction safety standards.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
- Typically office-based with frequent visits to project sites.
- May require travel depending on project locations.
- Work hours may vary depending on project deadlines and client requirements.
