Fit Out Estimator

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare BOQs and quotations
2. Measure and calculate the cost of materials
3. Prepare tender submissions and take-offs
4. Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors
5. Read and interpret plans for contract administration
6. Provide complete quantity take-off, analysis, estimate, and studies for all deliverables involved in the assigned scope of fit-out works
7. Define cost-efficient alternatives to the proposed scope of the project
8. Act as a connection between subcontractors, design team, project engineer, and client
9. Prepare and assemble bids and proposals for various contract types
10. Determine required but non-indicated scope through the analysis of site conditions and all contract documents (plans, specifications, etc.)
11. Collaborate with operations team and other estimators to ensure that General Conditions and Requirement items are appropriately captured in the estimate
12. Assess subcontractor proposals to ascertain if the scope is covered and manage the risk of scope gaps
13. Produce accurate and comprehensive estimates for complex projects in a timely and efficient manner

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent years of work experience
2. At least 5-7 years of experience in estimation & costing with an Interior Fit Out company
3. Analytical and extremely detail-oriented
4. Excellent time-management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly to changes in work priorities
5. Ability to multitask based on the requirement at hand
