JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Maintenance Manager to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance and inspection of fire safety systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in fire safety and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and standards.
  • Proven experience in managing fire safety systems and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations.
  • Relevant certifications in fire safety and maintenance are preferred.
  • Immediate availability to join.
  • Valid UAE driving license.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Create and implement maintenance procedures.
  • Delegate maintenance issues to appropriate personnel for effective resolution.
  • Design and implement preventative maintenance programs which reduce the risk of equipment failure and maximize productivity.
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Ensure all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair.
  • Ensure that all maintenance operations are following company policy and UAE fire code / guidelines.
  • Ensure that company premises and facilities are kept in clean and hygienic condition.
  • Ensure the facility satisfies all industry regulations.
  • Implement workplace safety policies and standards in operations.
  • Look for new ways/tools/assets to improve productivity and reduce cost.
  • Maintain accurate record of AMC operations at sites and present to upper management reports of daily activities.
  • Maintain all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work.
  • Oversee equipment stock and place orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Supervise and lead all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Control and monitor division cash flow and avoid & solve bank issues.
  • Attend trainings and seminars for self-growth & improvement and encourage team to do the same.
  • Maintain good business relationship with clients & suppliers.
  • Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
  • Schedule and oversee all maintenance related work by managing a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, supervisors, and coordinators.
  • Overseeing the management of maintenance budget, expenses, and equipment depreciation.
  • Prepare and manage maintenance budgets in order to meet set objectives.
  • Track expenses and oversee the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintain divisions/department’s cash flow, financial planning, and allocating the budget for the necessary resources.
  • Forecast, order, and price negotiation for spare parts inventory.
  • Firing/hiring maintenance staff and directing the activities of technical and non-technical maintenance employees.
  • Hire and train maintenance employees to carry out specialized duties.
  • Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department.
  • Arrange budgets for visa/labor/license renewal and new application to avoid fines.
  • If subcontractor is required, it must be coordinated and informed to HR in order to implement labor regulation in advance to monitor its implementation at projects.
  • Monitor payment request & emails for visa procedures to avoid any fines.
  • Monitor and maintain division payroll and ensure to achieve WPS compliance.
  • Manage workforce utilization planning for production, service operations and support functions to ensure effective staffing for current and future business needs.
  • Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists employees in solving work problems.
  • Ensures proper procedures are in place for reporting and managing accidents.
  • Processes administrative paperwork in accordance to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Reports to and collaborates with management of the Fire Maintenance Operations related issues.
  • Hire subcontractors for specialized maintenance work.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ras al-Khaimah: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

  • Fire Maintenance Manager: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • UAE Driving License (Required)
