A Fire Command Center Operator for Conrad Dubai is responsible for planning, administration and management of fire safety and life safety programs throughout Conrad Dubai to ensure compliance with all applicable local and federal laws, regulations, and standards concerning fire safety and life safety as well as applicable standards set by Hilton Worldwide.

What will I be doing?

As a Fire Command Center Operator for Conrad Dubai, you will be responsible for the safety and security of all guests, team members, contractors, and visitors while at the hotel. A Fire Command Center Operator is also tasked with:

1. Conducting regular inspections of fire safety systems, including fire alarm control panels, fire pumps, megaphones, eye wash stations, kitchen suppression systems, exit doors, fire extinguishers, and fire blankets.
2. Maintaining logs, records, and documentation of work activities, dispatch, inventory logs, maintenance and repairs, updating the fire book, training records, work permit records, and incident reports.
3. Handling calls from other departments and guests, and dispatching security officers as needed.
4. Diagnosing basic faults in Fire and Life Safety (FLS) control systems and reporting to FLS vendors.
5. Managing contractors and arranging planned preventive maintenance of FLS systems.
6. Conducting life safety equipment testing.

1. Previous Fire Command Center Operator experience, preferably within an industry that monitored large volumes of people movement.
2. Experience in planning, organizing, and enforcing security systems.
3. Current and working knowledge (proof of valid qualifications required) of fire, safety, and first aid.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Excellent personal presentation.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

1. Previous training experience with relevant qualifications.
