Job description

Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to provide strategic financial insights and support to drive business performance and decision-making. This includes overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and best estimate processes, while developing and maintaining financial models to assess key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics (KFIs). The role requires a deep understanding of macroeconomic factors to evaluate their impact on the business and the ability to communicate complex financial data through clear, concise business presentations and strategic summaries. By providing detailed explanations of financial models and their economic effects, this position ensures senior leadership can make informed decisions aligning with the company’s financial goals and long-term growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting and financial forecasts, aligning with business objectives.
  • Financial & Commercial Modelling: Develop, maintain, and enhance models for business performance, ESCO, MEP, SPV, and ESaaS businesses.
  • KPI/KFI Monitoring: Track financial KPIs and provide insights to drive improvements.
  • Business Presentations: Prepare financial presentations for senior leadership, summarizing performance and trends.
  • Macroeconomic Analysis: Monitor macroeconomic trends, assessing their impact on business.
  • Collaboration & Support: Work with finance, operations, and leadership to align forecasts with business needs.
  • Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports, highlighting performance variances.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and forecasting accuracy.
  • Feasibility Studies & Variance Analysis: Conduct financial feasibility studies and regular variance analysis for ongoing projects.
  • Automation: Drive automation in financial functions, integrating SAP ERP, PowerBI, and management systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional Certifications (CA, CFA, CPA, CMA) are required.
  • 7–10 years of finance experience, with 3–5 years in a similar role.
  • ERP & BI Experience: Proficient in SAP ERP and business intelligence systems.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders and clients.
