Job Description

A leading construction company with operations in Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and KSA is looking for an experienced Financial Director to lead its financial strategy and operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the company’s financial planning, reporting, and compliance across the UAE, Qatar, and KSA.
2. Ensure compliance with IFRS 15, corporate tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and related party transactions.
3. Manage project cost control, project cash flow, and financial risk assessment.
4. Establish and maintain strong banking relationships to secure credit facilities and manage financing structures.
5. Implement and enhance ERP systems to optimize financial reporting and internal controls.
6. Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
7. Ensure full regulatory compliance with local tax laws and international financial standards.
8. Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience in a Financial Director or senior finance role within a contracting/construction company.
2. Strong knowledge of IFRS 15, corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and related party transactions.
3. Hands-on experience in project cost control, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
4. Expertise in banking relationships and securing credit facilities.
5. Strong ERP system proficiency.
6. Arabic speaker preferred.
7. Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
