Position Objective

As a Financial Controller, you will oversee the company’s internal financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will lead the Accounting team and be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, audits, and operational finance to support the company’s financial health and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational finance, including accounting, financial reporting, and compliance.
• Lead and manage the Accounting team, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
• Develop and maintain budgeting processes, tracking financial performance against forecasts.
• Conduct financial audits to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to maintain liquidity.
• Ensure financial data integrity, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely with leadership to provide financial insights and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, IFRS / GAAP standards, and company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred)
• Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing an accounting team
• Proficiency in accounting software, financial modelling, and Excel
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
