Financial Controller

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling.
• Conduct variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning to identify key drivers of financial performance and inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, statements, and disclosures in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and regulatory filings, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Develop annual budgets, operating plans, and financial targets in collaboration with department heads and senior management.
• Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and implement cost-control measures to optimize resource allocation and achieve financial objectives.
• Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.
• Implement cash flow forecasting models, liquidity management strategies, and treasury policies to optimize cash utilization and mitigate financial risks.
• Establish and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.
• Identify financial risks, assess their potential impact, and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the organization's financial interests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or auditing roles, with a track record of progressive responsibility and leadership.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements, with knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and SEC reporting.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and budgeting software (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, present financial information to stakeholders, and build positive relationships.
