About the Job

Manage media release of properly approved financial information, and alignment with Finance on the communications aspect of finance information releases. Press releases on media channels include financial performance, strategic initiatives, and market position.

Job Specific Accountabilities

1. Leads all financial communications through media and is prime advisor to the senior communications line and relevant executives on all market relevant communications.
2. Builds, maintains, and grows a strong relationship with the organization's various communications verticals.
3. Support M&A communications planning and execution.
4. Develop and execute campaigns to target institutional and local retail investors, in close collaboration with investors relations and with appropriate approvals.
5. Activate suitable channels and create impactful content to engage local retail investors (social media, face to face, etc)
6. Coordinate with investors relations on the communications aspects of earnings releases and other financial announcements, leadership speeches and interviews with financial media.
7. Lead the company's annual report development and liaise with various internal stakeholders.
8. Proactively manage the placement of financial & investment accomplishments across key international and local financial media.
9. Leads media plan for financial media and owns day-to-day relationships.
10. Works closely with investor relations with a specific focus on financial media amplification of all activities with share price potential and/or investor interest.

Minimum Requirements

1. Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Finance, communications.
2. Experience in financial communications, either in agency or in a publicly listed company.
3. 8-15 years of experience in communications related to M&A, IPOs, and/or debt restructures.
4. Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, and ability to build strong relationships.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
6. Team player with a positive attitude, and desire to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team and company.
