We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to join our team at ALEC Group as the Financial Business Partner:

Job Overview:

The Finance Business Partner is a key player in supporting the company's strategic and financial goals by working closely with business units and budget owners to provide insightful financial analysis and decision support. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between finance and operations, ensuring financial performance aligns with the company's objectives.

The role will require close collaboration and partnering with budget holders and heads of departments to develop budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Work closely with department heads to ensure accurate and timely submission of financial data.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business unit leaders to understand their financial needs and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Perform detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario modeling, to support business units in managing their financial performance.
  • Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for each business unit, providing insights and recommendations for improvement based on financial data.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial planning and analysis activities.
  • Ad-hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as required by the FP&A Manager and other senior management to support various business initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis, business partnering, or FP&A role.
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
