Inspire Selection is recruiting for an international manufacturing company.
We’re searching for an Analyst who’s a specialist in costing, pricing, and project accounting. Only candidates who have worked in a factory should apply for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close of financial statements of the company.
- Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
- Process and monitor monthly payroll for management and workshop staff.
- Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support budget and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with the Plant Controller to support overall department goals and objectives.
- Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
- Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
- Assist in developing, maintaining and controlling annual financial budgets and periodic cash forecasting.
- Review and analyze cost sheets, variance analysis & feedback to concerns.
- Report on account receivables and account payable balances to ensure prompt attention to potential problem areas.
- Monitor project billing for high-end customers and ensure compliance with system disciplines.
- Responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
- Analyze data collected and record results.
- Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Minimum five years’ experience at a supervisory level in a reputable organization.
- Costing experience in a multinational manufacturing company.
- Oracle knowledge.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, co-workers, and other company personnel.
- Proven potential to be a strong closer.
- Good progress in prioritizing work.
- Consistently good work habits and ability to effectively prioritize work.
- Understanding and practice of effective communication inside and outside the company.
