Financial Analyst (Cost Accountant)

Salary AED 15-19k / month

Inspire Selection is recruiting for an international manufacturing company.

We’re searching for an Analyst who’s a specialist in costing, pricing, and project accounting. Only candidates who have worked in a factory should apply for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
2. Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close of financial statements of the company.
3. Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
4. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
5. Process and monitor monthly payroll for management and workshop staff.
6. Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
7. Support budget and forecasting activities.
8. Collaborate with the Plant Controller to support overall department goals and objectives.
9. Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
10. Provide training to new and existing staff as needed.
11. Assist in developing, maintaining and controlling annual financial budgets and periodic cash forecasting.
12. Review and analyze cost sheets, variance analysis & feedback to concerns.
13. Report on account receivables and account payable balances to ensure prompt attention to potential problem areas.
14. Monitor project billing for high-end customers and ensure compliance with system disciplines.
15. Responsible for planning, studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activities such as raw material purchases, inventory, and labor.
16. Analyze data collected and record results.
17. Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods or services provided, to determine effects on cost.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting.
2. Minimum five years’ experience at a supervisory level in a reputable organization.
3. Costing experience in a multinational manufacturing company.
4. Oracle knowledge.
5. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
6. Ability to work effectively with customers, co-workers, and other company personnel.
7. Proven potential to be a strong closer.
8. Good progress in prioritizing work.
9. Consistently good work habits and ability to effectively prioritize work.
10. Understanding and practice of effective communication inside and outside the company.
