Job Description

The financial analyst is responsible for providing accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to support decision making within the organization. They will analyze financial data, prepare financial reports, and provide insights and recommendations to management. The financial analyst will also monitor financial performance, identify trends, and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analysis and prepare reports on key metrics such as profitability, liquidity, and solvency.
• Evaluate financial data to identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to management.
• Assist in the preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecasts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends and competitors to support business decisions.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.
• Participate in financial audits and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
