Financial Accountant - SAP

We are recruiting for an Accountant - SAP for a Fintech in Dubai, UAE.

Role: Accountant

Role Type: Full Time

Salary: AED 12-14k per month (Tax-free)

Benefits: Family visas, family insurance, schooling for up to 3 kids (25k AED per child)

Languages: English & Arabic preferred

Requirements:

Record all the financial and accounting transactions and maintain the general ledger activities in a timely manner in SAP.

Support the finance team in preparing monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, including monthand year-end closing activities.

Process payments, issue invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.

Examine financial statements and records to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Support in preparing quarterly VAT/TAX Filling.

Help establish company best practices related to accounting.

At least 3-5 Years experience handling all finance and accounting functions in an ERP environment preferably SAP.

Skills:

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in accounting, business accounting, or finance and full or part professional qualifications such as CA/ACCA/CPA will be an added advantage

Significant experience with office productivity applications especially in MS Excel, with a strong aptitude for learning new systems and approaches

Knowledge of standard accounting and bookkeeping principles best practices and basic accounting principles of IFRS and UAE VAT law.

Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at the same time, whether working independently or as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of company financial information
