Finance Specialist – Management Accounting & Reporting

Key Responsibilities:
- Policy & Systems Management: Establish and review financial policies and management information systems to align with the company's strategic goals.
- Management Reporting: Interpret and provide accurate, timely management reports to support business planning and decision-making.
- Analytical Reporting: Prepare analytical reports and benchmark KPIs to track, implement, and improve performance across business units.
- Monthly Closing: Lead the monthly closure of accounts in collaboration with other accounting sections, ensuring adherence to group timelines.
- Team Development: Supervise and develop the Management Accounting team, ensuring alignment with company policies and procedures.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist the Finance Manager in the annual budgeting process, preparing detailed business unit budgets, consolidated budgets, and key analyses to support strategic planning.
- Chart of Accounts Review: Periodically review and suggest updates to the chart of accounts and business units in response to evolving business needs.
- Process Improvements: Identify and implement opportunities for enhancing service delivery, operational methods, and resource utilization.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies and safe working practices across all accounting functions.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards of business ethics and service delivery.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate in Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent. Qualified Chartered Accountant/CPA/ACCA.
- Experience: Minimum 3-4 years in finance, with exposure to lean/six sigma methodologies preferred.
- Technical & Leadership Skills: Exceptional mathematical and analytical skills with a strong business orientation. Ability to manage, delegate, and motivate a team effectively. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging with financial and non-financial stakeholders at all levels. Strong commercial acumen and drive for continuous improvement. Ability to work accurately under pressure, meeting deadlines with a keen attention to detail.
