Position Summary

This role will support credit lines for Samsung Group's Middle East and Africa divisions. The candidate will perform currency hedging for Samsung Group Middle East & Africa (FWD & Spot) in accordance with internal company policies: currency position verification, transaction execution, ERP entries. The successful candidate will be required to develop and manage Cash & Bank Accounts while also managing and keeping company’s registrations and official documents.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Prepare cash flow and financial liquidity reports on a monthly basis.
  • Perform collection of indicative deposit rates and place deposits.
  • Maintain databases: Loans, Deposits, Hedging reports, Credit line reports, Month-end closing reports.
  • Supervise bank accounts of Samsung Group's Middle East and Africa divisions.
  • Support the divisions in audits and other checks, financial counseling of the divisions (deposits, loans, pooling, currency positions).
  • Interact with banks, provide support for online banking systems and treasury platforms used.
  • Compile analytical review of macroeconomic information (compilation, summarization): Daily market analysis.
  • Perform sales promotion support related to banking or financial matters.
  • Establish working contacts and cooperation with banks in the Middle East and Africa, work on improving financial conditions of interaction with banks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Requires at least 8 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years.
  • Enhances or improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Typically implements short-term action plans rather than developing policy, process or strategy.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (PPT, Excel, Word), Power BI, dashboard and other analytical programs.
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and time management.
  • Has deep knowledge in one job area or broad knowledge in several job areas.
  • Fluent in communication skills (spoken & written).
