Finance Manager (Grain Trading) – Dubai, UAE

We are partnering with a leading grains trading company based in Dubai that is seeking a Finance Manager to lead its finance team and partner with senior management in executing commercial and financial strategy. The role focuses on driving profitable growth through financial planning, analysis, and cost management while ensuring strong financial controls and reporting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder collaboration, with a deep understanding of the commodity business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop financial strategy aligned with the annual and strategic plan, including capital requirements, forecasting, and resource allocation.
• Assess financial performance against key KPIs such as revenue growth and profitability.
• Ensure adequate cash flow management and optimize working capital to minimize interest costs.
• Oversee cash management to maximize returns on investment.
• Manage the company's capital structure, optimizing the mix of debt, equity, and internal financing while implementing risk parameters.
• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis, including budgeting, reporting, and trend evaluation.
• Deliver critical financial and operational insights to senior leadership and recommend strategic actions.
• Ensure compliance with high ethical and regulatory standards in all financial operations.
• Evaluate organizational strategies from a risk management perspective and implement mitigation plans.
• Optimize resource utilization by applying financial tools and systems to improve efficiency.
• Manage revenue streams through data-driven financial planning and forecasting.
• Analyze financial risks, assess operational funding needs, and develop strategic financial plans.
• Ensure financial statements comply with regulatory requirements by maintaining robust accounting systems.
• Evaluate performance using benchmarks, ratios, and comparative analysis.
• Develop and oversee compliance strategies to ensure adherence to financial and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Professional Qualification: CA/ACCA/CPA-qualified member.
• Academic Qualification: Degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in finance, with agribusiness and management experience.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a results-driven approach.
• Strong leadership, ownership, and ability to execute efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English.
• Ability to manage teams and foster collaboration.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and committed to high standards of integrity.
• Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office, SAP, and Oracle.
